1965 Shelby GT350 Tribute

This Mustang started life as a 1 owner California car with original paint in Wimbledon white with a black interior. It was the perfect basis to build a 1965 Shelby GT350 tribute. The car was disassembled and received a nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. We worked towards perfection by duplicating every modification that the Shelby American plant performed back in 1965. The 289 hipo engine includes the Cobra aluminum Hi rise intake manifold topped with a 715 cfm Holley carburetor, Cobra script aluminum valve covers and 7 qt. oil pan. The suspension was modified to Shelby specification by using the proper 1965 9″ axle housing with 3.89 gearing, Detroit locker, 10 x 2 1/2″ rear brakes and override traction bars, axle limiting cables and Koni shocks. The Shelby hood and proper lemans stripes finish off the accurate duplication process.

It has just been delivered to its new owner who is a renowned American contemporary artist. He will use it as the inspiration for his next masterpiece.
